Cllr Standley
2.      To approve the minutes of the Meeting of 6th August, 2011

3.      To receive declarations of interest
None
4.      Public forum
No members of the public were present.
5.      To consider licence and planning applications received and make recommendations
WD/2011/1571/F for 11 OSMERS HILL, WADHURST TN5 6QJ
EXTENSION TO SIDE OF HOUSE
No objection in principle.  However we comment on the inaccuracy of the plans, which omit reference to the closure of the existing door and the suggestion of a porch on the new extension.  We also note the proposed narrow gap between the extension and the new retaining wall (eg with regard to access to the rear).
WD/2011/1693/FE for LONG VIEW, PRIMMERS GREEN, WADHURST TN5 6DY
EXTENSION OF TIME FOR WD/2008/2323/F - SINGLE STOREY REAR EXTENSIONS
No objection
WD/2011/1559/F for DURGATES INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, DURGATES, WADHURST, TN5 6DF
PROPOSAL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PV ON INDUSTRIAL UNIT'S SOUTH-FACING ROOFS.
Support
WD/2011/1683/F for 20 JONAS DRIVE, WADHURST TN5 6RJ
CONVERSION OF EXISTING GARAGE AND GARDEN ROOM TO LIVING ANNEXE WITH WET ROOM.
Object.  Although we welcome the improvement in appearance of the property, we object because the proposal appears to reduce the area available for off-street parking.  We also question whether the existing in-fill between the garage and the house received appropriate planning permission and met building regulations at the time.
6.      To consider notices of decisions received
WD/2010/1689/FR - Barracks Cottage, Tidebrook, Wadhurst  - Refused (Appeal dismissed)
7.      To agree the final draft of the "Blueprint for Wadhurst"
After considerable discussion on the draft it was agreed to update it to include references to the Localism Bill, and to put it to the next meeting for final approval before including it in the circulation of the forthcoming newsletter.
8.      To agree the proposed survey of residents for inclusion with the newsletter to be sent out in
         September
Agreed to defer this survey for the time being until the process for local planning under the Localism Bill is defined in due course.
9.      Urgent issues at the discretion of the Chairman for noting
Cllr Kent confirmed that he had submitted a response to Wealden's Housing Allocations Policy review 2011.
The chairman referred to the request from a council in Suffolk for councils to support proposals to empower them in cases of major developments; this will be brought forward at the next meeting.
