New external French casement doors to replace existing window and new window in lieu of existing modern 20th century door.

No objection

WD/2007/3344/F  The Winnatts, Balaclava Lane
Single storey rear extension and reconstruction of garage.

No objection in principle to an extension but regret that due to the design of the existing dwelling the area of additional accommodation has resulted in a flat roofed extension which is uncharacteristic of the neighbourhood and therefore contrary to local plan policy and if approved would result in an undesirable precedent., The variation in window style is also aesthetically unsatisfactory.

There is no objection to the garage although it is noted that its roof pitch is too shallow for plain clay tiles.
