in the Ticehurst Village Institute

Declarations of interest by any Councillors regarding the list below should be made prior to the meeting or to that item being deliberated
Present:  Cllrs. Maynard ©, Goodall, Rigby, Langdown and Burley

Ticehurst RR/2009/152/O

Landscapes Rise, Cross Lane – Lawful occupation of the dwelling known as Landscapes Rise in non-compliance of an agricultural occupancy condition imposed upon planning permission A/69/899 for a continuous period in excess of 10 years -Mr G Baker.
Observations : As set out in Ticehurst Action Plan, the Parish Council opposes the lifting of agricultural restrictions as they feel they should be retained as affordable dwellings for those employed within the agricutural and forestry industries. Occupants who have resided in these properties outside the limitations of those conditions should not profit from the lifting of the restriction.

Ticehurst RR/2009/189/L

Shovers Green House, Wallcrouch – Erection of brick dividing wall at rear of Shovers Green House, variation of condition 3 imposed on listed building consent RR/2005/772/L - Mrs Pullman.
Observations :  It was felt that the Planning Inspectors recommendation for a Yew hedge to be planted and maintained should be upheld.

Ticehurst RR/2009/218/P

Chelworth, 4 Windy Field, Vineyard Lane – Proposed porch, gate canopy, temporary access - removal of hedge and replacment hedge and fence - Mr Sadler.
Observations:  It was felt that the existing hedge was poor and recommended that a new hedge and fence be erected slightly further in to the garden allowing safer pedestrian access along this stretch of the lane and affording better sight lines to the cul-de-sac.

Flimwell RR/2009/285/P Holmans, Union St – Addition of rear conservatory and pergola and car port to side - Mr J Clark
Observations :  It was felt that this did not affect other properties and was set well back from the road.
